Our History

Hams Cano Gonzalez, a company of which he is manager, José Luis Cano Gonzalez, this being the third generation that is dedicated to the art of salting and curing hams.
More than 40 years, his grandfather (Pepe Gonzalez), was one of the first to start salting and curing hams in Trevélez.
Together with his daughter Amalia Gonzalez, in those days salted and cured hams, the villagers, cortijeros and villages around Trevélez, which made its killing, in a small warehouse in a traditional and natural craft and cured by the special atmosphere that is cool and dry the area, being the village at the foot of Mulhacen.
Customers who brought their hams, put their trust in father and daughter to give the point of flavor and aroma of the ham only Trevélez.
Today José Luis Cano Gonzalez, grandson and son, followed the family tradition for the creation and sale of ham around the country and Europe.
